Can a tarot card reading tell you if you are going to die soon?
How about a psychic? I was around one right before I was re-diagnosed. She owned an alternative store out here. It seemed like she was drawn to me. It also seemed like she wanted to tell me something. Should I go back and talk to her,,, Or get a tarot card reading done? I am curious if the alternative treatment I am taking is working, or if I am just wasting my time.

Tarot doesn’t really work. And do you really want to know how you’ll die?
Suggestion by MAN of MYSTERY
Nobody can tell you when you’re going to die. If it makes you feel better to see the psychic, then go see them…but tarot cards are just cards with fascinating symbology. Just cards.

No they cannot (though depending who you speak to will have different opinions based on their religious/spiritual beliefs) the idea is the future is not set in stone and so it cannot tell you.
I would not advise that you go back. Don’t be sucked into that type of overly-mystical attitude, it’s easy to feel drawn and worry about it and it is both illegal and unethical for anyone to start throwing around predicted deaths etc. For your worries you can go and see your medical team and they will in addition to providing you with medical advice they can help advice you on how you can use alternative therapies and the like to aid you in your recovery.
Any medical team is designed to help you with meeting all your needs and any tarot reader/psychic that is ethical and following guidelines will, in fact, offer you the same advice. What is important is to never, ever accept any type of medical or health related “alternative” therapies without the acceptance from a GP (I say this as I am aware of where I live one unethical hoax of a “wiccan” who gave a cancer patient a stone to put in water and drink, which is actually toxic).

Just curious, is it worth it to pay for a tarot card reading on whether or not I should pursue a relationship?
Just curious, is it worth it to pay for a tarot card reading on whether or not I should pursue a relationship with a certain friend of mine? It’s a very complicated situation that I simply cannot answer on my own.

well, first of all, trust your intuition. if for any reason you feel this is not what you want then dont go for it. i went to many readers….those stupids just swallowed my money….a relationship which will be the happiest for you will usually show a king of pentacles…..if not then then it will need work. only two readers found that card in my reading and it came accurate, but it turned out to be not for the guy for whom i wanted it. i was suspecious about that relationship from the very beginning. i should have followed my instinct instead of getting involved with him.

If I were you, I’d purchase a Tarot Deck instead–a Sharp Set of Cards…It’s both a Collector’s Item ‘n perhaps it maybe very useful to you. ‘Nyways, I’ve seen this little Tarot Deck Show…’n God this Woman, won’t stop admitting the obvious. At least the Calls were Free…I believe.
If you’re going to take a Risk, risk it on the conclusion you’ve settled wit’, rather than depend on Mystical Items that aren’t easily grasped ‘n understood by the Common People of Today.

Tarot Card Reading – any psychics out there who know how it works?
I went for a short tarot card read. She said some cool, interesting and relevant things, but she could not see the answer to the specific question I was asking.
Does that mean she was hiding bad news?
Suggestion by Miss 6
No it doesn’t mean she was hiding bad news necessarily -sometimes its just the readers style. Also sometimes the cards will not reveal all answers to questions.

Believers have different views on this it seems, but the Tarot deck is perceived as a tool that facilitates self-discovery via mystic forces that apparently influence people. The symbols are a kind of communication that the tarot card reader interprets using their psychic insight.
Rationally speaking, however, the tarot card is only a prop for subjective validation, e.g., cold reading. Psychic frauds use tarot to give readings to clients since it make them seem more spiritually knowledgeable. So, regarding your reading, it’s simply that she couldn’t think of something mystic and spiritual to say, that’s all. I hope you didn’t waste any money.
Suggestion by Scarlet MacBlu
No. She probably didn’t understand your question or didn’t think your question was important. Once she got a look at the cards, she probably got distracted by what she thought they meant rather than trying to apply them to your question. I’d say she was probably a bit unprofessional and unhelpful. If I were you, I wouldn’t go to her again. Find a better reader, if you must, or buy some cards yourself and do your own readings.
Either that, or you asked her the kind of question that cards can’t answer. No one can predict the future… if you asked her for some fact about the future, no one could tell you. The future changes with each choice you make. Perhaps she was answering as best as she could to help you make good choices to acheive your goals and CHANGE the future, which, if you ask me, is much better than just trying to guess some future that you can’t do anything about.
